Introduction to Web Development:

What is the Internet: Illustrate how data travels from one place to another through networks.Discuss the internet using familiar examples (online games, videos, etc.). Use simple drawings or diagrams to represent the idea of data moving through the internet. What is a Website: Define what a website is and why they exist. Differentiate between websites and other online platforms. Discuss the purpose of different websites (information, games, storytelling). Installation of Work Space

Introduction to HTML :

Basic HTML Structure: Introduce the basic structure of an HTML document. Explain the use of HTML tags like , , and . Create a simple analogy of a book (HTML) having a cover (head) and pages (body). Have kids practice writing a basic HTML structure on paper or a whiteboard. Headings and Paragraphs: Introduce heading tags (h1 ,h2, h3,h4,h5 h6) and paragraph tags (p). Emphasize the importance of organizing content using headings and paragraphs. Use storytelling to demonstrate the importance of titles and paragraphs in a story. Have kids create a short story using HTML headings and paragraphs.

Introduce the img tag :

Introduce the img tag for adding images to web pages. Explain the importance of visuals in storytelling. Explore fun and child-friendly images that can be used in a simple web page. Have kids create an HTML page with headings, paragraphs, and images.

Introduction to CSS :

Basic CSS Syntax: Introduce the basic syntax of CSS with selectors and declarations. Explain the concept of properties and values. Demonstrate how to select HTML elements with CSS. Have kids practice writing simple CSS rules on paper or a whiteboard. Colors and Fonts: Introduce the color property for changing text color. Explore the font-family property for changing fonts. Experiment with different colors and fonts on a basic HTML document. Create a "Colorful Story" or "Font Fun" page using CSS to enhance the visual appeal.

Styling Text :

Explore text-related CSS properties like font-size, text-align, and line-height. Discuss how styling can improve readability and aesthetics. Play with different font sizes and alignments to create visually interesting text. Have kids style a short story or poem with various text properties.
